Care & Harvest

✂️ Pruning: We recommend checking the roots monthly and trimming any that are brown or extending past the yPod. To encourage new flower bud development, remove dead flower heads (a.k.a. deadheading).

🔎 Plant Health: Spider mites are a common pest, but you can use our prevention and treatment tricks to keep pests at bay!

Quick Facts

Petunia is a herbaceous plant in the Solanaceae family and is native to the tropical regions of South America where it was discovered in the late 1700’s.

Petunias will grow 7-10″ tall and produce an abundance of delicate trumpet-shaped pink flowers. The plant spreads before blooming and covering the foliage. Non-toxic, non-edible (can upset stomach).

Petunias have a lovely fragrance and add an amazing pop of color to your Gardyn.
