- Remove dead flower heads to encourage blooming.
- For fresh flowers, cut the long stems and put them in water immediately.
- Remove and replace when plant stops producing flowers.
All species from Tagetes [marigold] are native to the Americas and span from the southwestern United States through Central America and down into Argentina. The greatest number of different species is found in Mexico.
Red Marietta Marigold is loved for its spectacular bright red and orange blooms that grow about 2” in diameter. It is an annual plant that grows 12-18” tall.
Red Marietta Marigold adds a splash of color to your Gardyn and home. Cut flowers at their peak bloom and use for floral arrangements, or allow to grow proud on the Gardyn and deadhead spent blossoms.
