Gardyn Home is our flagship model, growing up to 30 plants — ideal for families or food lovers. Gardyn Studio is our compact model, growing up to 16 plants — perfect for singles, couples, or smaller spaces.

Gardyn is designed for efficiency:

Water: Depending upon model type and plants grown, water usage is estimated about the same as 4-6 dishwasher loads per month — around 95% less than traditional gardening.
Electricity: Depending upon model type, electricity usage is estimated as comparable to an incandescent bulb or tower fan.

Kelby optimizes both automatically for energy savings.

Home can grow up to 10 lbs per month, enough for salads for four people every day. Studio produces up to 5 lbs per month, enough for daily salads for one to two people.

Home requires about 2 sq. ft., similar to a small chair. Studio needs about 1.4 sq. ft., similar to a potted plant.

Choose Home if you want maximum harvests for a family or frequent cooking. Choose Studio if you live in an apartment, condo, or want a smaller daily supply.
