Mimosa Recipe: Blood orange, thyme, and basil

Published May 14, 2021

A classic brunch beverage, the mimosa combines citrus elements with a bit of bubbly champagne. Created by Gardyn team member, Sarah Lader, this version uses thyme simple syrup to incorporate an earthy yet sweet taste. Opting for a blood orange makes the drink a bit more bitter than acidic and brings in flavors similar to red berries. A meld of flavors nicer than the average mimosa, this drink is elevated by the use of herbs.
