G3 Initiative: Gardyn Grows for Good

OUR MISSION

Fresh, nutritious food is essential for human health and well-being. At Gardyn, it’s our mission to make it as accessible and sustainable as possible. For today and for the future.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead

Do you know of an organization that is on a mission to help people have access to healthy food or someone you admire for selflessly helping others?

We’re giving Gardyn Home devices to philanthropic organizations and people working to give a hand up, responding to the needs of their communities.

We want to share this opportunity to make nutritious food more accessible, make our communities more sustainable and autonomous, stop damaging the environment, and rediscover the meaning of fresh, nutritious and delicious food.

Everyone should have access to healthy food, no matter where you live or what your budget can handle. At Gardyn, we’re on a mission to make living healthy a reality for all – one lettuce leaf at a time – until it leads to sustainable change.

We are not currently accepting applications. Please check back at a later date!

At Gardyn, we believe:

We need to reimagine the current food paradigm

Food should not be optimized for production or a supply chain. Instead, it should be cultivated for its original intention: to feed your body and soul, to be nutritious and tasty, and to be readily available to share with family and friends.

Producing food shouldn't have a negative impact on our planet

Let’s grow produce locally with no pesticides, using 95% less water and no carbon emissions resulting from shipping produce from far away.

Technology is best when it serves people

Cutting edge technology should be used to address some of the most pressing issues we are faced with: public health, climate change, food deserts, access to education, and beyond.

Everyone should have access to nutritious food

Inequalities in the access to quality food are still blatant. We want the Gardyn technology to be part of solving these issues and give everyone access to healthy food.
