The Gardyn device does not need to be set up immediately — the plant yCubes that come with your Starter Set can last several months when stored properly.

For optimal germination, it is ideal to set up your Gardyn within 90 days of receipt and to keep the device and contents in their shipping box in a cool, dry place in your home.

We understand that gifting happens at different times throughout the holiday season so we want to provide flexibility so you can buy now and gift later!

From 11/01/2024 – 12/31/2024, Gardyn is extending our standard 60-day return policy.

Starting on 11/01/2024, you have 60-days from the day you connect your device or until 2/28/2025 (whichever date is earlier) to return your Gardyn Device in its original condition in the original box.

While the starter sets are not customizable, you can order over 100 different varieties of plants in the Gardyn App so that you can customize your Gardyn.

Yes! If you’re looking to experiment, you can purchase your own seeds to grow your own varieties. We offer seedless yCubes so you can experiment with ease.

Not to worry! If any yCubes do not germinate after 28 days, please contact our support team.

You can grow your Gardyn Studio with or without a membership.

With no membership, you still have access and control of your Gardyn device through the app. Non-members can order additional yCube plants a la carte starting at $4.99.

Membership benefits

After setting up your Gardyn Studio in the app, you can start a 30-day free trial of our monthly membership. You’ll get 5 free plant yCube credits and immediate access to all membership perks.

At the end of the 30 day trial, your membership will auto-renew for a monthly fee. If you wish to cancel your auto-renewal, you can at any time in the app.
