Gardyn is a vertical hydroponic smart garden that makes it easy to grow fresh food indoors, year-round. Using automated watering, lighting, and AI-powered plant care, Gardyn makes it easy to grow greens, herbs, and vegetables indoors, no green thumb required.
How many plants can I grow with Gardyn?

Gardyn Home grows up to 30 plants at once, while Gardyn Studio grows up to 16 plants. Both let you grow full meals, not just herbs, from over 100+ varieties of greens, herbs, veggies, fruits, and flowers.
Is it easy to set up and maintain?

Yes. Most customers report setup in under 30 minutes. Once running, automated water and lighting keeps your plants thriving. The Gardyn app and Kelby, your smart gardening assistant, provide simple reminders, making ongoing care delightfully quick and easy.
How much water and electricity does Gardyn use?

Gardyn is designed for efficiency:

• Water: Depending upon model type and plants grown, water usage is estimated about the same as 4-6 dishwasher loads per month — around 95% less than traditional gardening.
• Electricity: Depending upon model type, electricity usage is estimated as comparable to an incandescent bulb or tower fan.

How much space does Gardyn take?

Both models are compact and vertical. Gardyn Home needs about 2 sq. ft. (similar to a small chair) and Gardyn Studio needs about 1.4 sq. ft. (similar to a potted plant).

Gardyn Home can produce up to 10 lbs per month, enough for daily salads for a family. Gardyn Studio produces up to 5 lbs per month, enough for daily salads for one to two people.
